Alison Krauss
Alison Krauss, a bluegrass fiddler hailing from Tennessee, at the age of 19, was a major famous national figure in the year 1990 following receiving the Grammy Award in 1990 for Best Bluegrass Album. It was a remarkable feat, not just because Krauss was young as well because I've Got That Old Feeling was the third release in her library. The first album, Too Late to Cry which was released at the time that she was Champaign, Illinois, native was just 16 years old; she had been signed to Rounder Records--one the most revered folk music labels on the market--at the age of 14. Krauss is known for her extraordinary virtuosity, and achievements, even at such a young age. Her love for bluegrass, one of the oldest and most under-appreciated forms in American culture, is an ongoing feature. Krauss is now an experienced performer and producer who had gained experience from her time as a teenager superstar.
