Sharon Yvonne Stone was born on the 10th of March the year 1958 in Meadville, Pennsylvania, to accountant Dorothy Lawson and tool and die manufacturer also a former worker at a factory Joseph William Stone II. Michael, Kelly, Patrick. She was one from three sister. Stone was considered to be an academically talented child when she began two grades when she was five. She graduated with a high school diploma in Saegertown located in Saegertown in Pennsylvania in 1975. She also competed winning at the Miss Pennsylvania beauty contest. Stone relocated from Pennsylvania to New Jersey in 1977 with her aunt, to pursue a career as a model. Within a month, she was signed with Ford Modeling Agency. After one year of modeling between Milan and Paris the model moved to Europe. Stone was disillusioned by the modeling business in Europe, and chose to pursue acting instead. At the age of 20, she appeared in Woody Allen's "Stardust Memories" the film which got mixed reviews.
