Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd began her journey in combat sports at the teenager age. She trained in boxing kickboxing wrestling, and BJJ. She made her amateur debut at age 18 in WCFC in a fight against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd took advantage of this win and began a 3 fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents within the first round of all fights. Ladd returned to WCFC in order to defeat Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous ruling. Aspen has already beaten Silvia Baeghian as well as Maddy Simmons, before taking the fight to Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia had a superior record to Aspen as she beat her in a unanimously voted victory. Cynthia's record as an amateur was damaged. Ladd beat Roma Pawelek on Tuff n Uff, and increased her amateur record from 8-1 to 8-1. Aspen made her debut with Invicta FC in 2015 to start her journey as a pro. Invicta Fc 11, she defeated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the the first round via TKO. Invicta 16, she was able to move into the Bantamweight division after winning the fight against Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen used her wrestling expertise to take out McGill by TKO in the third-round (elbows & punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) as an "catchweight"(138.1lb) due to the fact that Ladd failed to make an appearance at the. Aspen, however, beat Hoy with a TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her last bout for the organization. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks defeated by unanimous verdict. Aspen Ladd's UFC debut took place in UFC Fight Night 118 when she took on Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina with a combination of ground and pound. She won the TKO round later in the second. When she next faced Tonya Evinger at UFC 229, her victory was even more impressive. Ladd took the win in round one and was awarded the performance of the Night bonus. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee, she fought Sijara-Eubanks in her debut fight. The two fighters had one of the most competitive fights that Ladd won by unanimous decision. Both fighters were awarded an award called the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie put an end to Ladd's winning streak with just 16 seconds. Yana Knitskaya fell in the 3rd round at UFC 7 on ESPN. In a last-minute substitute to her UFC match, she faced Norma Dumont during UFC Fight Night 195. It was a unanimous decision in her favor.
